CLC Grand European Meeting The american Cadillac LaSalle Club CLC holds every year the so-called Grand National Meeting in the USA. This large Cadillac meeting is organized by a regional chapter of the CLC and there are always several hundred participants from all states of the USA. Since in many countries of Europe there are Cadillac Clubs maintaining good contacts to the CLC, the idea was born to have a similar meeting to the Grand National also in Europe. Every second year, an European club was to organize a big European meeting, the CLC Grand European, in their country. The first Grand European was organized 2006 by the Cadillac LaSalle Club Belgium at Zeebrugge, Belgium. Then, the Classic Cadillac Club Deutschland hosted 2008 the second GE in Speyer, Germany, and in 2010, the Cadillac LaSalle Club France followed with the meeting at Richelieu. Due to interference with other international events, the next GE was moved to 2013 and was held by the Cadillac Club Netherland at Noordwijkerhout. (Pictures of all these meetings can be found here). And now, the Cadillac Club of Switzerland had the honour to invite to the GE 2015 in Switzerland. For 2017, the Cadillac Club Denmark stands already in the starting blocks to take over. less... |
